I want it simple. Those who really know me are aware that I have a very simple and direct outlook in my dealings with every day that comes along. I love conversation. I love quiet nights. I cherish solitude as much as I enjoy good company. I am not impressed with good looks ... except perhaps for a few seconds of sensory excitement. Beyond that ... a little usage of brain matter becomes all too important. No, I am not impressed by people deliberately trying to impress me: instead I opt for people who appreciate the simplicity in matters of both heart and mind. I love to read. I love films. I love the art of vintage jewelry and design. I love interior design. I am a music freak ... having my iPod attached to my ear for most of the time to avoid cacophony. And I am capable of great measures of daring and insanity --- for reasons provoked or otherwise. In short, I live under the theory of contradictions. Life is too short to be taken all too safely or seriously ... so I am one big roller coaster ride. I know best when to behave ... but I know better when it is best to misbehave. Inasmuch as I believe in the importance of decorum, I love breaking rules... just to test the mediocrity in limitations. I love Boracay. Any small chance I can get away from the stressful unpredictability of the city ... that includes the chaos of traffic and the rule of hypocrisy ... I take the first plane to Caticlan and regroup all my rhyme and reason with the pure hedonism of that island. And I do not feel an iota of guilt indulging in such earthly pleasures.
